Trios is thrilled to be the Tri-Cities area's only teaching hospital. We currently offer two residency programs—with future plans to expand to additional specialties—as well as a rotation program that allows medical students to preview our work and learning environment prior to formally applying for residency. Click on the links below for more information about each program.
Family Medicine Residency - An American Osteopathic Association approved program with three available positions each year. The program is 36 months in length and provides training to enhance physician-patient relationships, professionalism, and medical knowledge. Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment is considered fundamental to the training process and will be integrated throughout the program duration.
Internal Medicine Residency- An American Osteopathic Association approved program with one available position each year. The program is 36 months in length and incorporates both inpatient and outpatient learning opportunities. In addition, opportunities to interact with specialists in a collegial fashion are emphasized.
Medical Student Audition Rotation Program - This program offers fourth-year medical students the opportunity to perform scheduled rotations at Trios Hospital as a precursor to possible residency program application.
