Medical Student Audition Rotation Program
Trios Health offers audition rotation opportunities for medical students interested in the Trios Health residency programs (family medicine and internal medicine). Applications are accepted starting February 1 each year, for rotations scheduled in the fall. Due to COVID-19, the internal medicine program will not take any applications for 2020.
Audition rotations are offered to fourth-year medical students interested in evaluating Trios residency programs. If you are interested in an audition rotation, please submit the following information via email or fax:
Cover letter discussing your interests
COMLEX or USMLE Level I and II scores if available.
Please note: If you are accepted for an audition rotation, additional documentation will be requested from you or your school prior to starting.
Please allow four to six weeks for application processing. If you are selected for a rotation, you will receive a confirmation email.
Students applying for an audition rotation with our internal medicine program will have the opportunity to rotate with the academic hospitalist team. The team includes attending physicians, current residents, and medical students.
Students applying for a family medicine audition rotation would rotate with the program director or core faculty member for the family medicine residency program. All audition students have an opportunity to work in the residency clinic and attend didactics.
Offering you a positive learning experience at Trios Health is very important to us. Every attempt will be made to fill as many requests as possible. For more information, please visit our FAQ page.
