May 17, 2019
Charlie Pearce, who joined Trios Health in January as interim Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as permanent Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
“I am very happy to be here and am excited to move my family here,” Charlie said. “I look forward to working here and being part of Trios’ bright future.”
Prior to his arrival at Trios, Charlie worked in Kalispell, Montana, as a Chief Financial Information Officer at Kalispell Regional Healthcare. During his tenure there, the hospital grew to a $500 million organization with three hospitals, numerous clinics and more than 200 employed physicians.
He has worked in hospitals in Florida, Arkansas, Texas and Montana. He began his career as an accountant at his hometown hospital in Homestead, Fla., after attending Asbury College in Kentucky, where he earned his BA in Management and Accounting. He would later complete an MBA at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
He has enjoyed working in hospitals throughout his career.
“I like that it’s ultimately about the patient and compassionate patient care,” he said.
Charlie and his wife Karen have one daughter, Sara, who is a student at Flathead Valley Community College studying psychology.
Trios Health operates two hospitals to accommodate the area’s fast-growing population: Trios Women’s and Children’s Hospital at its downtown Kennewick location and Trios Southridge Hospital, a state-of-the-art hospital, which opened July 15, 2014. Trios Medical Group, comprised of nearly 100 employed physicians and providers, serves as the core of a growing medical staff network of 325+ providers throughout the Tri-Cities and includes practices and services at nine Care Centers and four Urgent Care Centers.
