Trios Health Welcomes First Baby of 2024

Trios Health is ringing in 2024 with the year’s first bundle of joy. Weighing 4 pounds and 6 ounces and measuring 18 inches, Hiraya was born to Crystal and Zachary on Monday, January 1st, at 2:40 a.m.
“We are so thrilled to welcome our newest family member!” said Crystal. “The physicians, nurses and staff at Trios Birth Center took such great care of us and we are so thankful to them for making this experience so special.”
Trios Birth Center is dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care close to home for new and expecting parents in the region. The unit opened in March 2022, and more than 2,552 babies have been born in the new unit since it moved from the former Auburn campus. Trios Birth Center includes two dedicated rooms for Caesarean Section deliveries, six Labor and Delivery (LDR) rooms, 11 postpartum rooms, and a 10-bed Special Care Nursery, A Level II NICU, for babies born after 32 weeks gestation.
“We have an extraordinary team of clinical and support staff who are committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment for mothers and their babies on New Year’s Day and year-round,” said Melissa Wilson, Trios Birth Center Director at Trios Health. “One of our greatest privileges is helping our community’s families welcome their newest additions in a healthy, positive and memorable way.”
