Trios Health Internal Medicine Residency Program Retains Accreditation

April 04, 2022

Trios Health is pleased to announce that its Internal Medicine Residency program has retained its accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) programs.

The continued accreditation is awarded annually to programs that remain in compliance with ACGME standards, policies, and procedures. The accreditation is necessary for the residency program to continue, and also allows resident physicians to complete their board exams after completing an accredited residency program in the United States.

“We are grateful to have maintained our accreditation and to continue to work with talented and incredible internal medicine resident physicians,” said Amy Sweetwood, Trios Health Graduate Medical Education Designated Institutional Officer.

Trios Health internal medicine residents practice at the Trios Care Center at Vista Field, located at 521 N. Young St. in Kennewick. They also complete rotations at Trios Southridge Hospital and other sites in the community. The program is 36 months in duration and includes both inpatient and outpatient experiences.

Patients can schedule an appointment with an internal medicine resident physician by visiting TriosHealth.org/Find-A-Doctor or by calling 509.221.5222.
