Trios Health Appoints Sharmaine S. Haughton as Director of People Services

Trios Health is pleased to announce that Sharmaine S. Haughton, has been appointed as Director of People Services, effective June 1, 2026.

Sharmaine is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for all areas of people services, including employee relations, talent acquisition and assessment, compensation management, performance management, training and leadership development, policy, and procedures; and managing the Trios team of people services professionals.

Sharmaine is a transformational and mission-focused leader with more than 15 years of experience driving innovative HR strategies that support organizational growth and employee success.

Known for a strategic and people-centered approach, she brings extensive expertise in building high-performing teams, optimizing talent acquisition and retention efforts, and fostering inclusive workplace cultures grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Sharmaine holds a Master of Master of Business Administration in Human Resources from Strayer University, Washington, DC and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources from Capital University in Columbus, OH. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
