Trios Health Earns Full Transparency Badge From The Leapfrog Group
August 10, 2026
Trios Health has earned the Leapfrog Full Transparency Badge, recognizing the hospital's commitment to publicly reporting information about patient safety and quality through the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey.
The Full Transparency Badge is awarded to hospitals that complete, affirm, and submit all sections of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, one of the nation's leading voluntary reporting programs focused on patient safety, quality, and transparency.
“Earning the Leapfrog Full Transparency Badge reflects Trios Health’s ongoing commitment to openness, accountability and continuous improvement,” said Kena Chase, Market Chief Nursing Officer of Trios Health and Lourdes Health. “Our patients and their families deserve clear, meaningful information about the care they receive, and we are proud of our team members, providers and leaders who work every day to strengthen safety, quality and trust across our hospital.”
Trios Health continues to advance quality and patient safety through focused improvement efforts, transparent reporting and a culture of accountability. The hospital’s participation in the Leapfrog Hospital Survey supports its ongoing work to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement and help patients and families make informed decisions about their care.
These efforts are part of Trios Health’s broader commitment to serving the Tri-Cities region with safe, compassionate care close to home. From investing in quality initiatives and clinical programs to recognizing the dedication of nurses, physicians and staff, Trios Health remains focused on strengthening the patient experience and improving the health of the communities it serves.
"We applaud Trios Health for its commitment to transparency," said Leah Binder, president and CEO of The Leapfrog Group. "Transparency is one of the most powerful drivers of improvement in health care. By fully participating in the Leapfrog Hospital Survey, Trios Health is helping patients and families access meaningful information about the safety and quality of their care."
The Leapfrog Full Transparency Badge appears on Leapfrog's public ratings website and identifies hospitals that have committed to openly sharing information about their performance.
